Wye Junction is a mixed-use development in Durham, NC featuring a 310-unit apartment building and 26,700 sf of retail space (including the historic preservation of an existing ~19,000 sf commercial building). The 5.2-acre property was an assemblage located in Durham’s Warehouse District, which is ~½ mile from the city center and is popular for entertainment and dining.

 

The location is blocks away from the Durham Innovation District, which will include 1.8MM sf of office, lab, and retail space. Google is also planning a cloud engineering hub near the site.  

 

Site work commenced in Q1 2023 and the first apartment unit deliveries are expected in Q2 2025. Atomic Clock Brewing, a new brewery, opened for business in Q2 2024.
